The National Gridiron League has announced the appointment of Mr. Chris Darlison as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Gridiron League and its subsidiaries.
Effective immediately, Mr. Darlison will take leadership of all organizational functions. The new role has been in planning for over 12 months and is the beginning of the league’s corporate restructure. The league is making changes to a number of positions as it establishes and expands its management team.
Mr. Darlison was originally appointed as Director of Sales in May this year. The expansion of the management team and new commercial opportunities has resulted in his elevation to the new role. Mr. Darlison has over 16 years executive experience in sports management, with a key focus on establishing high-value corporate partnerships and athlete management.
With the appointment of Mr. Darlison as CEO, Managing Director Marcin Soluch will now move to a Chairman role. Mr. Soluch will lead the NGL at the policy level and will focus primarily on the funds’ management business.
